The senior back emerged a key contributor as a rusher, pass receiver and passer in the Firebirds' 38-36 shootout win at Nash Central last Friday evening. Jackson managed 18 yards on five carries and scored from 3 yards late in the second quarter. His 41-yard reverse pass to Chi Ali Bunn set up quarterback Deon Lavender's 10-yard TD toss to Bunn with no time left on the clock to end the first half. Jackson also caught two of Lavender's passes for 48 yards.

Senior defensive end had his name called quite a few times in the 34-0 win over Nash Central last week. The LSU commit had nine first-half tackles and seven second-half stops.
WEEK 09
Trae Hudson
Fike
Senior end spearheaded the defensive effort in the Golden Demons' 28-14 loss Friday night at Rocky Mount. Made nine tackles, including five solo stops with 3.5 resulting in loss of yardage for the Gryphons.
WEEK 08
Josh Joyner

The senior running back had more than ample room to run in the Warriors' 28-7 victory over Rocky Mount. , Joyner bolstered his area rushing lead with a sparkling 24-carry, 241-yard performance that included three TDs. Joyner's scoring runs encompassed 4. 12 and 28 yards.
WEEK 07
Taylor Finch
Southern Nash
The 5-foot-7, 159-pound junior ran for 108 yards on 12 carries in a Southern Nash 35-28 victory over Fike.
After Fike took a 14-7 lead early in the second quarter Friday, Finch quickly responded for the Firebirds on their first play from scrimmage, rumbling for a 75-yard TD.

Beddingfield
Again spearheaded Bruins' running game with 93 tough yards on 14 carries. Scored first-half TDs by twisting 2 and 3 yards, respectively as Beddingfield defeated Kinston 31-12.

Surpassed the 100-yard rushing plateau for the fourth straight week as he rolled for 131 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the Cougars' 56-49 upset at No. 6-ranked Kinston. Also caught two passes for 31 yards.

Senior tight end caught the Warriors' first two TD passes of the season -- a 33-yard ramble on a screen pass from quarterback Daniel Westbrook and an 18-yard haul on another Westbrook delivery.
WEEK 03

Senior quarterback continued to be the Golden Falcons' offensive trigger as he ran for 99 yards and a TD in their 36-7 rout of visiting Greene Central last week. Snowden also passed for 25 yards as he hit 4-of-8 targets.
WEEK 02

Vaunted defensive end lived up to his reputation as a big-time player as he made three sacks for a total loss of 21 yards. On the final sack, Neal forced a fumble that turned into a defensive TD just before halftime. Also had an assist on another tackle for loss and batted down a third-down pass attempt.

Completed 10 of 18 passes for 192 yards, including a touchdown throw to Daryn Parker, along with one interception. He also rushed for 14 yards on 11 carries with a TD in Greene Central's 21-19 win over North Lenoir.
