Five Wilson County public schools will have new principals, according to records of personnel appointments released following the Wilson County Board of Education’s special meeting on Friday.

All the new principals are current Wilson County Schools employees. The changes will take effect Monday.

Beddingfield High School will get a new principal when Jonathan Tribula, formerly Forest Hills Middle School principal, takes over. Tribula, who had previously been assistant principal at Hunt High School and at Beddingfield High School, has 13 years experience in education.

Daniels Learning Center Acting Principal Jennifer Parker will take over as principal of Darden Middle School. Parker has 13 years of experience in education.

Hunt High School Assistant Principal Luretta Hardy-Belfield will take over as principal of the Daniels Learning Center. Hardy-Belfield has 25 years of experience in education.

Frederick Douglass Elementary School Assistant Principal Kelly Thomas will become principal of Hearne Elementary School. Thomas has 10 years of experience in education.

Hunt High School Assistant Principal Zachery Temple will take over as principal of Stantonsburg Elementary School. Temple has nine years of experience in education.

Other transfers were announced for administrative and teaching personnel in the district.

• F.T. Franks, formerly principal of Beddingfield High School, is being transfered to a position to be determined. Franks has 32 years of experience in education.

• Olinka Baker will become assistant principal at Fike High School. Baker has 20 years of experience.

• Sandy Barnes, formerly assistant principal at Hearne Elementary School, will become assistant principal at Rock Ridge Elementary School. Barnes has 11 years of experience in education.

• Wendy Daniel, formerly principal at Vinson-Bynum Elementary School, will become assistant principal at Forest Hills Middle School. Daniel has 14 years of experience in education.

• Sabra Green, former assistant principal at Elm City Middle School, will become assistant principal at Frederick Douglass Elementary School. Green has 18 years of experience in education.

• Vanessa Love, formerly assistant principal at Forest Hills Middle School, will become assistant principal at Hearne Elementary School. Love has 19 years of experience in education.

• Gavin Meiring, formerly assistant principal at Fike High School, will become assistant principal at Hunt High School. Meiring has five years experience in education.

• Debra Rogers, formerly a counselor at Fike High School, will become assistant principal at Hunt High School. Rogers has five years experience in education.

• Casey Wester, formerly a teacher at Forest Hills Middle School, will become assistant principal at Elm City Middle School. Wester has five years experience in education.

• Jagtar Singh, formerly the acting principal at Darden Middle School, will become a science teacher at Fike High School. Singh has 22 years experience in education.

• Yvette Jobe, formerly an instructional technology facilitator, will become instructional technology facilitator for beginning teacher support at the central office. She has 25 years of experience in education.

• Joshua Rollins, formerly an instructional tech facilitator, will become secondary STEM coordinator at the central office. Rollins has 11 years experience in education.
