Julia Elizabeth Lancaster and Michael Vernon Arnette, both of Wilson County, were married in a 5 p.m. ceremony on Oct. 14 at the home of the bride’s parents. The Rev. Bobby Fletcher officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Ronald and Jane Lancaster of Stantonsburg. She is the granddaughter of R.B. Lancaster Jr. of Stantonsburg and the late Dotsie Lancaster of Eureka and the late Mr. and Mrs. James R. “Bud” Skinner of Stantonsburg. Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Arnette of Elm City.

The bride graduated from Charles B. Aycock and East Carolina University. She is employed as administrator of NCBMBT at Broughton, Wilkins, Sugg and Thompson. He is a graduate of Fike High School and Wilson Community College with a degree in business management. He is employed as sales manager with Verizon Wireless in Goldsboro.

The bride was escorted by her father.

Sarah Lancaster Carraway served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Paige Eason, Shelly Lancaster, Britttany Williams, Anna Barnes, Lauren Hollis, Liz Facinoli and Lauren Zorbis.

Flower girls were Harper Exum and Vivienne Exum.

The groom’s father served as best man. Groomsmen were Jonathan Arnette, Kyle Carraway, Bryan Dawson, Oscar Munguia, Brandon Ham, Nathan Smith and Bryan Tedder.

Ring bearer was Emmett Skinner.

Little best men were Brady and Walker Carraway.

Following the ceremony, a reception was hosted by the bride’s parents at the home of the bride’s parents.

A rehearsal dinner was hosted by family at the home of the bride’s parents on the eve of the wedding.

A bridesmaid luncheon was held Oct. 13 at Rib Eyes of Snow Hill hosted by Jane Lancaster, mother of the bride.
