The Barton College soccer program will hold two separate camps for youth and high school age players during the months of June and July.
Barton will hold its Youth Soccer Day Camp for boys and girls ages 3 through 13 from June 11-14. The cost is $75 for Ages 3-5 and $100 for Ages 6-13. Both age groups will participate from 5-7 p.m., with the Ages 6-13 group going until 8 p.m. nightly at Barton Athletic Complex.
Campers will focus on skill development while having fun learning technical and tactical aspects of the game. Emphasis on passing, receiving, heading and scoring will be stressed, including game situations. All sessions will be conducted by collegiate coaches.
From July 27-29, Barton will also hold a residential camp for high school girls, designed for advanced players. Individual skills will be touched upon before moving into tactical play with large groups. The cost is $200 for commuters and $250 for residential campers prior to July 1. Campers will have the opportunity to live in Barton dormitories and eat on campus while working with collegiate coaches. The cost for residential campers increases to $290 after July 1.
