Farris & Farris, PA associate attorney Rhyan Breen was selected for inclusion in the The National Trial Lawyers: Top 40 Under 40, a professional organization composed of the top trial lawyers from each state or region who are under the age of 40.

Membership in The National Trial Lawyers: Top 40 Under 40 is by invitation only and is extended exclusively to those trial lawyers practicing civil plaintiff and/or criminal defense law.

Membership is extended solely to the select few of the most qualified attorneys from each state who demonstrate superior qualifications of leadership, reputation, influence, stature and public profile measured by objective and uniformly applied standards in compliance with state bar and national Rule 4-7. Invitees must exemplify superior qualifications, trial results and leadership as a young lawyer. Selection is based on a thorough multi-phase objective process which includes peer nominations combined with third-party research.

“I am humbled that the National Trial Lawyers would select me for inclusion,” said Breen. “I am grateful for the support I receive from my family, friends and colleagues. I have been blessed to be able to learn from some of the best lawyers in the state. I look forward to continuing my zealous advocacy for my clients and community.”

In addition to criminal defense and civil plaintiff work, Breen assists entrepreneurs in establishing new businesses and drafting simple wills and powers of attorney. Breen also volunteers many hours to community causes including serving on the boards of the Imagination Station and the Arts Council of Wilson, serving as a judge for the Teen Court program, being a member of the Methodist University Legal Studies Advisory Board, and serving as a governor-appointed member of the North Carolina State Youth Advisory Council.
