Katelyn Paige Craft and James Haywood Britt Jr., both of Wilson, were married in a 2 p.m. ceremony on April 27 at Saratoga Original Free Will Baptist Church. The Rev. Greg Barnes officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Scott and Angie Craft of Wilson. She is the granddaughter of E.B. and Nell Webb of Wilson and David and Faye Craft of Sneads Ferry. She graduated from Wilson Christian Academy and East Carolina University with an undergraduate degree in psychology and a master’s degree in social work. She is employed as a clinical social worker in Goldsboro.

The groom is the grandson of the late James Whitley Britt and the late Mattie Edge Britt. He graduated from Beddingfield High School and is employed as a store manager in Wilson.

The bride was escorted by her father.

Matron of honor was Heather Lucas King. Bridesmaids were Meredith Batten Newman, Anna Parker Heath, Anna Claire Mitchell and Kelly Willetts Reddick.

Cameron Wilson Farmer served as best man. Groomsmen were Jason Scott Craft, brother of the bride; Jack Thomas “Tommy” Hayes; Ethan Prescott Mitchell; and Carter Edward Webb.

Junior groomsman was Avery Thomas Reddick

Following the ceremony an outdoor reception was hosted by the parents of the bride in Saratoga.

On the eve of the wedding, a rehearsal dinner was hosted by the grandparents of the bride in the church fellowship hall. Earlier in the day, a bridesmaids’ brunch was given at the home of James and Jeaneen Lucas hosted by Heather Lucas King, Jeaneen Lucas and Elaine Reddick.

Since their return from a wedding trip to the Outer Banks of North Carolina, Mr. and Mrs. Britt are living in Wilson.
