GREENVILLE — Casey Elizabeth King, 33, died Sunday. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Thomas-Yelverton Funeral Home, Wilson, with the Rev. Cliff Harwood officiating. Interment in Evergreen Memorial Park will be private.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home located at 2704 Nash St. N, Wilson.
Casey was a graduate of Pitt Community College and the UNC-Charlotte respiratory care program and worked as a licensed respiratory therapist at Vidant Medical Center, Greenville. Casey enjoyed time spent with her many friends and loved her two feline furbabies, Suresh and Sasha. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Surviving are her parents, Edward G. King Jr. and Melissa Boykin King of Wilson; one brother, Alex King of Wilson; one sister, Rachel King of Wilson; aunts and uncles, Barbara and David Howell of Wilson and Hazel and Patrick Waddington of Newport News, Virginia; and her Vidant Medical Center family.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Edward G. King Sr. and Lessie May King, and her maternal grandparents, Willie E. Boykin and Marjorie Boykin.
Flowers are welcome and memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society, 930-B Wellness Drive, Greenville, NC 27834.
