The Wilson Pregnancy Center is hosting a night of laughs featuring renowned Christian comedian Robert G. Lee.

Laughs for Life II will be held from 7-9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9 at Peace Church, 2838 Tilghman Road.

Lee is well known in the entertainment industry and is billed as “Hollywood’s top warm-up comic.” He’s also a veteran of more than 1,500 episodes on shows including “The New Adventures of Old Christine,” “Just Shoot Me,” “Becker” and “The Drew Carey Show.” Lee has been seen on the Bananas Comedy series, Showtime’s “The Joke’s On Thee,” VH1’s “Stand Up Spotlight,” “Comic Strip Live” and a variety of roles on such sitcoms as “Wings” and “Perfect Strangers.”

Lee has combined his Christan worldview with his Monty Python sensibility and written many Veggie Tales videos such as “Little Joe,” “Gideon” and “Sheerluck Holmes.”

To top it off, he just released his latest comedy project, “Wisenheimer” and just finished post-production on “Can I Get A Witness Protection?” a full length faith-based screwball comedy feature he wrote and directed.

Tickets are $10 and are available at the Wilson Pregnancy Center by calling 252-237-6833 or online at eventbrite.com. The event will benefit the nonprofit Wilson Pregnancy Center.
