Life in the Word

Life in the Word Ministry will celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Rev. George Atkinson at 7 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday with the following speakers: Tuesday, the Rev. James Carmon of Amazing Grace Church; Wednesday, Chester Aycock of St. Paul Church of Christ; and Thursday, the Rev. John Wooten of Higher Calling Baptist Church.

Unitarian — Rocky Mount

Unitarian Universalist Fellowship will have service at 10 a.m. Sunday.

Lewis — Farmville

Lewis Chapel Free Will Baptist Church will have senior citizens day at 11 a.m. Sunday with the Rev. William Ingram along with Simro Free Will Baptist Church of La Grange rendering the service.

First Missionary — Lucama

Kenly Apostolic Church will have revival at 7:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday with the following speakers: Thursday, Adrain Arnett of Pink Hill; and Friday, Harold Kallam of Burlington.

St. Paul

St. Paul Church of Christ, Disciples of Christ will have Sunday school at 9:45 a.m. and will be celebrating the 43rd anniversary of the Rev. Chester L. Aycock at 11 a.m. Sunday with the Rev. Ronnie Wiggins as speaker and music by the mass choir. An afternoon service to conclude the celebration will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. Alton Smith of St. Mark Church of Christ as guest speaker at the Darden Alumni Center. Mid-week Bible study is noon Tuesday and 7 p.m. Thursday.

Mitchell — Bailey

Mount Zion Progressive Primitive Baptist Church will have men’s day at 11 a.m. Sunday with the Rev. A 100 men in black service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday with Perry’s Temple Church and Male Chorus rendering the service.

St. James — Fremont

St. James Church of Christ will have Holy Communion at 6:30 p.m. Saturday. Sunday school is at 9:45 a.m. The church will be celebrating its 66th anniversary, homecoming and mortgage burning service at 11 a.m. Sunday with Darian Suggs along with White Oak Grove Original Free Will Baptist Church rendering the service.
