Wilson Dems plan precinct meetings
The Wilson County Democratic Party has announced the following precinct organizational meetings:
• The Saratoga precinct will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 15 at the home of Alprator Briggs.
• Gardners will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 19 at White Oak Pentecostal Holiness Church, 5259 US 264 Alternate E.
• Precinct R will meet at 6 p.m. Monday, Feb. 19 at Reid Street Community Center, 901 Reid St. E.
• Precincts K and P will meet at 6 p.m. Monday, Feb. 19 at the Wilson County Public Library, 249 Nash St.

Speight alumni plan Mardi Dance
Speight High School alumni will host a Mardi Dance, dancing to the oldies and latest sounds, from 7 p.m. to midnight Friday, Feb. 16 at the Darden Alumni Center, 1600 Lipscomb Road. Food and free door prizes will be available. Donation is $15 per person.

Ascension Lutheran hosting blood drive

Church to hold Relay for Life supper
NASHVILLE — The Relay for Life team Fruit of the Spirit is having a sausage, egg and pancake supper from 5-7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 17 at Sandy Cross United Methodist Church, 3725 Sandy Cross Road.

Senior center plans line dancing

Brian Center seeks volunteers
The Brian Center Health and Rehabilitation of Wilson, 2501 Downing St., is looking for volunteers to lead one-on-one activities such as bingo, church services, games and exercises with residents between 9:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.
