Clothing giveaway set for Saturday

Garden talk planned Monday
Cyndi Lauderdale will be the speaker for the October Garden Talks session, “Fall for Gardening,” planned from 3-4 p.m. Monday, Oct. 15 at the Wilson Agricultural Center, 1806 Goldsboro St. SW.
Parkinson’s support group to meet
The Wilson County Parkinson’s Support Group will meet at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16 at First Presbyterian Church on Sunset Road. The speaker will be Donna Reichard from Wilson Medical Center. Church to host breast cancer awareness program
St. Rose Church of Christ, 605 S. Douglas St., will have a breast cancer awareness program from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 20 with state Rep. Jean Farmer-Butterfield, Donna Tyson, Lisa Skinner from Wilson Medical Center Radiology and Helen Harwood from Regional Medical Oncology as guest speakers.

College holding domestic violence program
The Wilson Community College criminal justice technology program and the Wesley Shelter will have a domestic violence program at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25 at Wilson Community College’s DelMastro Auditorium. Members of the public are invited to attend.
Domestic violence silent walk slated
The Wesley Shelter will hold a silent walk for domestic violence victims at noon Wednesday, Oct. 31 beginning at the Wesley Shelter office, 106 E. Vance St.
Church women’s day scheduled
West Nash United Methodist Church, 2106 Nash St., will host Church Women United, a world community day, at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 2. Alice Freeman will be the featured speaker and the event will include fellowship and refreshments.
Southern Nash reunion scheduled
NASHVILLE — The Southern Nash Senior High School class of 1973 reunion will be held from 5:30 - 10 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3 at Leon’s Barn, 3438 Batchelor Road.
