Brand Performing Arts Center’s Dancing for a Cause is Sunday, Feb. 17, at the Boykin Center.

The fundraiser for Southeastern Cancer Care features B-PAC’s Company Dancers.

SCC is a non- profit organization established to assist cancer patients who live in eastern North Carolina.

“The funds raised are used to help those who are on active chemo, radiation or within three months of surgery,” said studio owner Barrett Hildebrand. “Your financial support will help provide basic living essentials such as gas cards, food vouchers, utility payments and oncology prescriptions.”

All proceeds from tickets and program ads will go to SCC.

In the last three years, the dance studio has raised $55,351 for SCC through this event.

“When we choose to give, we unite from different sectors and communities in the name of a common cause. This is a key contributing factor in strengthening communities. I always keep in mind that I would not be the person I am today if it were not for the experiences and opportunities along the way!

Tickets are $8 per person. Purchase through WAWtix.com.
