Pete and Lou Ann Peterson of Wilson announce the engagement of their daughter, Lara Jordan Peterson, to Carson Elliott Davis, son of Parker and Helen Davis of Wilson.
The bride is the granddaughter of John and MaLou Stokes of Wilmington and the late Wilbert Peterson and Evelyn Peterson of Wilmington.
The groom is the grandson of the late Gordon Davis and Emily Davis of Eureka and the late Melvin Jones and the late Sarah Jones of Pikeville.
An Aug. 11 wedding is planned at Millbrook United Methodist Church in Raleigh.
