GREENVILLE — Elizabeth Edgerton Mayo, 95, formerly of Lucama, passed away Thursday. Her funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery, Wilson. The Rev. Paul Kevin Jackson will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 1 - 1:45 p.m. Sunday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson, and other times at the home of her daughter, Frances Proctor.

Elizabeth is survived by her daughter, Frances M. Proctor of Greenville; granddaughters, Lisa Jackson, and husband, the Rev. Paul Kevin Jackson of Greenville, Elizabeth Alley of Nashville, Tennessee, and Christina O’Lear and husband, Gary, of Raleigh; grandsons, Junior Mayo and wife, Pam, of South Carolina, Tommy Shirley and wife, Dana, of Greenville, James Mayo, Billy and Dennis Mayo, all of Wilson; seven great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by husband, John T. Mayo; son, Jimmy Mayo; and her daughter, Barbara Alley.
