The Eastern North Carolina Athletic Officials Association will start its 16th season of providing high school and middle school basketball officials.

The ENCAOA also provides officials for middle schools, private schools, and Christian schools. This includes middle school boys and girls, junior varsity girls and boys and varsity boys and girls basketball games.

Each official must register through the North Carolina High School Athletic Association and the ENCAOA, take the basketball exam, attend six local clinics, work scrimmages and complete the concussion course exam.

Below is the list of ENCAOA clinics for the 2019-2020 basketball season. The clinics will be held each of the next seven Mondays, either in the Hunt High gymnasium or in the second mobile unit behind the gym. All clinics will start at 7:15 p.m.

The dates are Sept. 16, 23 and 30 in the mobile unit; Oct. 7 and 14 in the mobile unit and Oct. 21 and 28 in the gym.

For more information on the ENCAOA basketball officiating program, call Mickey Davis, director, at 252-230-2467 or email at mgd39@wcyaa.org.
