A Federal Emergency Management Agency trailer will be in Wilson County this week to assist hurricane victims.
The mobile recovery intake center will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. today through Saturday at 1817 Glendale Drive SW. FEMA staff will be on hand to meet with homeowners and renters about available assistance.
Wilsonians also can go to the Wayne County Disaster Recovery Center from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays through Wednesdays at the T.C. Coley Building, 516 S. Leslie St. in Goldsboro.
Registration is recommended before visiting a FEMA center, and it can be completed at DisasterAssistance.gov/, on the FEMA mobile app or by calling 800-621-3362 from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily.
