CLAYTON — Junior Carlos Garcia tallied both goals for the Southern Nash High varsity boys soccer team in a 4-2 nonconference loss at Cleveland on Wednesday.
Garcia scored on an unassisted tally for the 3-A Big East Conference Firebirds (3-4-1), who trailed 2-1 at the half. Garcia’s other goal came off an assist by senior Eric Mendoza.
In goal, senior Brannon Price had 13 saves.
Southern Nash opens Big East play Monday when it plays host to Fike.
