Amber Bunn Godwin of Wilson and Bryant Nelms Glover of Elm City were married in a 3 p.m. ceremony on Oct. 8 at The Dean Plantation in Zebulon. Steven Gay officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Godwin of Wilson. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jake Bunn of Wilson and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Godwin of Saratoga. She graduated from Ralph L. Fike High School and East Carolina University with a degree in secondary history education. She is employed with Wilson County Schools at Beddingfield High School as a history teacher.
Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. John Glover Jr. of Wilson and Mr. and Mrs. Lee Herndon of Wilson. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. John Glover Sr. of Elm City and the late Mr. and Mrs. Willard Joyner of Nashville. He graduated from James B. Hunt High School and North Carolina State University with a degree in agriculture and extension education. He is employed with Wilson County Schools at Beddingfield High School as an agriculture teacher.
The bride was escorted by her father.
Stephanie Muller of Greenville served as maid of honor. Jennifer Polner of Wilson was matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Rachel Barlow of Wilson, Jordan Godwin of Wilson, sister-in-law of the bride; and Jessica Lee of Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Flower girl was Noelle Godwin, niece of the bride.
Tyler Hong of Sims and Zach Suddreth of Wilson served as best men.
Groomsmen were Ryan Reich of Greenville, Brock Godwin and Brandon Godwin of Wilson, both brothers of the bride.
Ring bearer was Everett Godwin, nephew of the bride.
Following the ceremony, a reception was hosted by the parents of the bride at The Dean Plantation.
A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the parents of the groom at Cattails Restaurant on the eve of the wedding.
Since their return from a wedding trip to St. Lucia, the Glovers are living in Elm City.
