More than 300 children and their families flocked to Wilson Community Health Center’s inaugural Easter egg hunt held from 4:30 to 6 p.m. April 13.

Festivities included pictures with Peter Cottontail the Easter Bunny, an egg walk, hula-hooping, an Easter egg hunt and refreshments.

Carolina Family Health Centers, Inc. is made up of four facilities: Wilson Community Health Center at 303 E. Green St. Wilson; Harvest Family Health Center at 8282 N.C. 58 S., Building B, Elm City; Carolina Family Health Center Dental at 8282 N.C. 58 S., Building A, Elm City; and Freedom Hill Community Health Center located at 162 N.C. 33 E., Princeville.

The federally funded nonprofit organization says it specializes in quality and affordable care and has developed a broad scope of health care services in Wilson and Edgecombe counties over a span of nearly 20 years.
