Rob Best, Divine Horne and Sincere Batts led the defensive effort, and the offense of the Hunt High football team eked out just enough production to get a 10-0 win over 3-A Big East Conference foe Rocky Mount on Thursday.
Hunt, now 5-2 overall and 2-0 in Big East play, got on the board in the first quarter with a 28-yard scoring strike from quarterback Dalton Garwood to Jaylen Daniels.
In the third quarter, Collin Gresia booted a field goal for a two-possession lead.
Hunt, which collected seven sacks of Rocky Mount quarterbacks, is at Southern Nash next week.
