The recent attacks on Rep. Jean Farmer-Butterfield have no place in our democracy. Rep. Farmer-Butterfield is a lifelong member of our Wilson community. Her character, integrity and compassion for others is a known fact. The main focus of this campaign should be on “We, the people of Wilson County...” but the opponent has only tried to perpetrate division among the citizens of this thriving county.

Rep. Farmer-Butterfield is committed to the education of our students, health care for all in need, human services, support for our farmers and economic development for Wilson County. Her commitment and service to the citizens of Wilson County as our representative for District 24 is sorely needed and greatly appreciated. She works hard and tirelessly for her constituents.

Sending Rep. Jean Farmer-Butterfield back to the North Carolina House to continue her hard work and proven leadership is in the best interest of the voters in Wilson County and the great state of North Carolina.
