Wilson County farmers Tyler Lamm and Wyatt Scott learn the standards of tobacco grading during the 2018 N.C. State University Tobacco Short Course in Raleigh on Jan. 30. Lamm and Scott were two of the 34 North Carolina tobacco growers, extension agents and tobacco-related agribusiness personnel who participated in the all-day grading session as part of an annual program sponsored by the N.C. Tobacco Research Commission, the Tobacco Growers Association of North Carolina, Tobacco Associates and the Tobacco Farm Life Museum in Kenly, in cooperation with the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at N.C. State University.
