If you’re looking for a way to give back this holiday season, the Wilson County Senior Activity Center needs your help. The center is sponsoring its ninth annual Santa for Seniors program, which provides gifts to seniors in need during the Christmas season. The program gives community members a chance to give back and brighten an older adult’s holiday.

To help, stop by the senior center at 1808 Goldsboro St. SW between now and Dec. 16 and pick an ornament.

Each ornament is labeled with suggested gift items for a local senior citizen.

After you’ve purchased the gifts, place them in an unwrapped bag and take them along with the ornament back to the senior center.

The Wilson County Sheriff’s Office will deliver the gifts on Dec. 20. For more information, contact Sandra Carter at the senior center by calling 252-206-4059.
