ROANOKE RAPIDS — The Community Christian School boys basketball team was dealt a 42-31 road loss by Halifax Academy on Tuesday evening.

The Cyclones could not overcome a 13-11 halftime deficit in losing for the eighth time in nine games.

Leading the CCS scoring were Jake Farmer with 15 points and Tyler Spivey with eight.

The Cyclones’ next test comes Friday at 3 p.m. in New Bern against Epiphany.
