Jake Farmer had 16 points for the Cyclones.

Lady Cyclones clip Greenfield 17-12
Behind the 12 points of Olivia Kelly, the Community Christian School girls basketball team spilled Greenfield from the ranks of the unbeaten with a 17-12 win on Friday.
Darcy Dean had five for the Lady Knights, who lost for the first time in six games. Fletcher Worrell had four.

Cougars edge South Edgecombe to open season
Three players contributed double-figure scoring for the Speight boys basketball team in a 46-43 win oer South Edgecombe on Thursday in the season opener for both teams.
Trevor Best and Jamauris Howard each had 14 points for the Cougars, while Kameron Barbee had 11.
Speight visits Springfield on Monday.
