Gracie Farmer had eight points and Hannah Parker chipped in six to lead the Wilson Christian girls Blue basketball team to a 20-12 victory over the ‘A’ squad from Rocky Mount Academy on Tuesday afternoon.

Alex Gardner led Rocky Mount Academy with seven points.

Wilson Christian’s middle school teams will remain split Friday, with the Blue team traveling to Wilson Prep.

Blue Chargers stopped by Rocky Mount Academy

The Wilson Christian boys Blue basketball team suffered a 46-37 loss to visiting Rocky Mount Academy on Tuesday.

David Greene led the Chargers (1-3) with nine points. Seth Quinn and Hunter Lewis tallied eight points.

WCA visits Wilson Prep on Friday.

Lady Chargers Gold clips RMA

The Wilson Christian girls Gold basketball team overcame scoreless first and third quarters Tuesday to eke out an 11-8 win against the ‘B’ team of Rocky Mount Academy.

Hannah Parker had four points to lead Wilson Christian. Holland Miller tossed in three.

The WCA Gold roster, making its first appearance of the season, will visit Kinston Bethel Christian on Friday.

WPA boys stay unbeaten

Micah Buck poured in 28 points to help the Wilson Preparatory Academy boys basketball team remain unbeaten through six games with a 59-27 win over Winterville Charter on Monday.

Troi Shade had seven points for the Tigers, with Varsheed Watson chipping in six.

WPA hosts Wayne Preparatory Academy on Thursday.

Lady Tigers fall to Winterville Charter

The Wilson Preparatory Academy girls basketball team lost a 19-14 decision to Winterville Charter on Monday afternoon.

Wilson Prep fell to 0-3 on the season.

Farmer’s buzzer-beater keeps WCA unbeaten

WINTERVILLE — Gracie Farmer’s game-winning basket ended a 12-2 spurt in the fourth quarter and rallied the Wilson Christian girls basketball team to a 25-23 win over Winterville Christ Covenant on Tuesday, Nov. 20.

Patsy Price had 11 points for the Lady Chargers, who improved to 3-0.
