A Wilson writer is planning an encore performance of monologues and skits adapted from her book “Lingerie, Lovers and Lies: The Life of a Side Chick.”
Beverley Worthy Boseman will present “The Life of a Side Chick: Mocktails and Conversations” from 5-7 p.m. March 31 in the party room at Westview Lanes, 1700 Ward Blvd. Admission is $10, seating is limited and light refreshments will be served.
The show consists of “entertainment with a message” on the theme of women’s friendships and romantic entanglements with married men and features monologues and skits from local actors.
“Although the title may raise an eyebrow, the material is clean, classy and captivating,” Boseman said in a news release.
Attendees sample non-alcoholic “mocktails” during the performance.
Copies of the self-published “Lingerie, Lovers and Lies” are available online at bit.ly/sidechickbook. To purchase tickets to the March 31 show, call 252-360-0538.
