WALKERTOWN — A corner 3-pointer at the buzzer by Graham Oedy lifted Cramerton Christian by Wilson Christian 56-53 in the North Carolina Christian School Association 2-A JV Boys basketball tournament championship game Saturday at Gospel Light Christian Academy.

Oedy’s dagger came after Wilson Christian (18-8) tied the score.

Will Hoskins had 17 points to lead Wilson Christian while Turner Provo added 14 points.

Cramerton Christian finished with a 24-0 record.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Lady Chargers fall in state final

WALKERTOWN — Losing for just the third time in 25 games this season, Wilson Christian fell 32-25 to Faith Christian of Ramseur in the NCCSA 2-A JV Girls tournament championship game at Gospel Light Christian.

Chloe Villaverde had a game-high 13 points for the Lady Chargers while the Lady Eagles (17-2) got 12 points from Kylie Gaines.
