KENLY — The North Johnston High varsity boys basketball team exploded for 26 points in the fourth quarter and rallied to a 66-59 nonconference victory against visiting Louisburg on Friday night.

The Panthers of the 2-A Eastern Plains Conference trailed 47-40 going into the final quarter but, by outscoring Louisburg 26-12, emerged with their sixth win against three losses.

Senior Kameron Williams fired in 24 points for the Panthers and was complemented by junior Savon Foye with 18 and senior Rakim Stancil with 17.

Louisburg’s Elijah Jamieson poured in a game-high 27 points and JyQuan Taylor tallied 14..
