SNOW HILL — Snyder Pearson of Wilson didn’t lose a set on his way to the boys age 14 singles championship of the Snow Hill Fall Junior Tournament over the weekend at Greene Central High.

After a first-round bye, Pearson stopped William Drake of Walstonburg 6-1, 6-4 before knocking off Carter Peele of Bailey 6-2, 6-2 in the semifinals. Pearson then downed Tanner Collins of Zebulon 6-1, 6-3 in the final.

Kevin Peele Jr. of Bailey lost to Wilmington’s Varun Varadarajan in the boys 16 singles final.
