Amando Robles was the first overall finisher in the Wilson Family YMCA’s 15th annual Robin Run 5K and One Mile Fun Run on Saturday, Nov. 10.
Robles, a junior at Fike High, crossed the finish line on Lynch Circle, behind First Presbyterian Church, in 18 minutes, 34 seconds. The top female finisher was Ashley Littlefield in 25:55.
Alex Evans was second behind Robles in the men’s division, finishing in 20:54, just ahead of third-place Steve Thomas in 20:58.
Claiming second in the women’s division was Brittany Kopka in 29:30 while Johnna Dorough was third in 30:00.
Jack Kopka was the top finisher in the STRIDE boys division, crossing the line in 26:30, while Ella Bailey was first among the Girls on the Run participants in 28:31. Second and third, respectively, among STRIDE runners were Dylan Carpenter in 27:14 and Colin Stronach in 27:15 while Bella Edwards was second in the Girls on the Run group in 28:58 and Savannah Comstock was third in 30:00.
The event attracted more than 400 total participants.
