Wilson police on Tuesday arrested a man who was wanted in connection to a shooting on Belmont Avenue.
Braderick Saheem Shanique Isom, 20, is charged with attempted first-degree murder and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury following Monday's shooting in which a 19-year-old was injured.
Authorities served warrants on Isom, of 718 S. Taboro St., Apt. 3, on Tuesday.
Isom received a $1 million bond and is currently in the Wilson County Jail, officials said.
Police were dispatched to a 203 Belmont Ave. home around 4:45 p.m. Monday. When officers arrived, they found a 19-year-old suffering from a gunshot wound, according to police.
Police have not identified the victim who was taken to Vidant Medical Center in Greenville for treatment.
