Trinity Mobley played a major role in her Wilson Preparatory Academy varsity girls basketball team’s two victories last week, making her this week’s Thomas Law Attorneys Student-Athlete of the Week.
Trinity, a junior guard, had 23 points on 11-of-13 shooting, seven steals, seven assists and six rebounds in the Lady Tigers’ 80-8 win over visiting New Life Christian of Fayetteville on Tuesday. The following night, she recorded a quadruple-double of 20 points, 12 rebounds, 10 assists and 10 steals as WPA thumped North East Carolina Prep 63-12.
The daughter of Annetta and Lee Crumel of Wilson, Trinity has a 3.9 GPA while taking honors and Advanced Placement courses at WPA. She is a member of the Beta Club and National Honor Society, while also playing soccer and volleyball for the Lady Tigers.
She is active in her church, God’s Love Ministry, where she also sings in the choir. Trinity volunteers at The SPOT and also plays travel basketball for Wilson Elite.
