A workweek warmup is in store for the greater Wilson area, but a high-pressure system on its way Friday should make for a chilly weekend.
Under mostly sunny skies, Tuesday's high temperature will top out around 40 degrees with an overnight low in the upper 20s following a Monday night in the teens, Albert Thomas Jr. explains in this week's installment of The Wilson Times Weathercast brought to you by NCWheels.com.
Temperatures should soar into the low 60s on Wednesday and reach that mark again on Thursday. With the high-pressure system taking control, Friday's high is forecast to remain in the upper 40s with overnight lows in the mid-20s.
