With consistent daytime highs in the low 90s and a heat index hovering around 100 degrees through Wednesday, the only variable in the greater Wilson area's forecast is rain, Al Thomas explains in this weekend installment of The Wilson Times Weathercast brought to you by NCWheels.com.

There's a 30% chance of a pop-up thunderstorm or shower Saturday, but rain chances plummet to a marginal 10% to 15% late Saturday evening to early Monday. As the workweek begins, rain chances will edge up to 20% on Monday and 25% on Tuesday.

Listen to the Weathercast audio file linked below for more details on the weekend and early week weather.
