The greater Wilson area is in for a damp weekend due to multiple complex weather systems bringing a steady stream of moisture, Al Thomas Jr. explains in this installment of The Wilson Times Weathercast brought to you by NCWheels.com.

Forecasts call for an 80-90% chance of showers and thunderstorms during the day Saturday and Sunday dropping to 50% overnight. Flash flooding is possible in isolated areas depending on the rain's frequency and intensity. Daytime highs will range from 80-82 degrees.

Rain chances fall to 50% on Monday and climb to 70% on Tuesday. With with more sunshine, high temperatures will rebound into the mid-80s. While a cold front could make Wednesday soggy, drier weather is expected toward the end of next week.
