Wilson should enjoy a sunny summer weekend and start to the workweek thanks to a pair of high-pressure systems, Albert Thomas Jr. says in the latest installment of The Wilson Times Weathercast brought to you by ENCWheels.com.
No significant rain chances are in Wilson County's forecast Saturday through Monday, and temperatures are expected to increase, though Saturday should be pleasant with a high in the mid-80s and a low in the lower 60s.
Expect the mercury to climb to the upper 80s around Saturday and reach the 90-degree mark Monday and Tuesday with heat indexes in the mid- to upper-90s. As the daytime temperatures rise, overnight lows in the 70s will return.
