After a very cold start to Saturday, with temperatures landing near 20 degrees at daybreak, the Wilson Times area should see a quick warmup.

High pressure over North Carolina ridging back to Tennessee is forecast to bring lots of sunshine over the weekend.

High temperatures Saturday are likely to reach the low 50s followed by near 60 Sunday afternoon. Saturday night's low in the upper 20s should be the last below-freezing temperatures here at least until Thursday night.

A complex weather system, including a warm front, shows up Monday bringing clouds and precipitation.  The low 50s for Monday's high is expected to be followed by highs in the mid-60s Tuesday and Wednesday. A cold front is scheduled to make its arrival late Wednesday.
