The boys team from Wedgewood Public Golf Course recently captured its fourth consecutive Eastern North Carolina Junior League divisional championship.

Wedgewood then finished the runner-up in the league finals. 

Brook Valley Country Club of Greenville claimed the title.

In the division, Wedgewood produced three age-group champions.

Bryce Pittman ruled in 12-13, with Noah Pierce second and Cameron Ratliffe third.

Jacob Kearney emerged the 14-15 victor, with Drew O’Neal second and Nate O’Neal third.

Ryan Richardson notched the 16-18 championship, with Seth Thompson second.

In the ENCJGL finals at Wedgewood, Drew O’Neal lost in a three-hole playoff and finished second in 14-15.

Wedgewood’s PGA Junior League won its third straight divisional title this summer. 

Team members: Nate Lewis, Colby Kennedy, Cameron Ratliffe, Jackson Boykin, Will Taylor, Joseph Strange, Brie Council, Avery Briley, Taylor Cox and Katelyn Davis.

Advancing to the all-star team that competed at Lonnie Poole Golf Course in Raleigh were Strange, Council and Ratliffe.
