It’s interesting and revealing that anything Trump says or does, within 45 minutes, he is automatically wrong, foolish or working against America. Disaster is at hand.

There is no need to wait and measure the actual context and meaning.

There is no need to see how the other side will react.

There is no need to wonder, maybe, the instantaneous evaluation might, just be a tad premature.

It is a spasmatic knee-jerk response — everything is negative and a disaster. No question.

But Iran, which has been in a virtual state of war with America since 1979, murders innocents and threatens allies and chants “Death to America — P.S., that includes Democrats, LGBTQ people, Hispanic Americans, blacks and feminists — always gets the benefit of the doubt and then a second, 12th or 47th chance.

“Let’s not be hasty and jump to conclusions about the mullahs and their values, goals and aims they shout, chant and act on for decades...let us be considerate and diplomatic” with them. And, if they do murder, attack or undermine our interests — mine and yours — no biggie, we will demonstrate largess and let it pass.

“Wait! Trump moved our embassy to Jerusalem! There will be a bloody war that will envelop the entire Middle East!”

There hasn’t been a single shot fired, but that matters not.

The double standard is more obvious than a smoke alarm going off in your kitchen.
