Park restrooms, shelters and playgrounds closed
Beginning Tuesday, March 24, the City of Wilson will close all playgrounds, park restrooms and shelters in an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19. Parks will remain open. Please practice social distancing when using parks and trails.
Live remote inspections available
The city will begin offering live remote inspections for certain inspections starting March 24. Live remote inspections allow a permit holder to show and demonstrate code compliance without requiring the inspector to be physically present at the project. The use of live remote inspections is voluntary. More information is available here:

The city encourages those residents affected by current economic conditions related to COVID-19 to contact us and not wait until a hardship situation arises. If you are affected, let us discuss various payment options with you. We offer flexible options that include a possible payment plan or a payment extension. We review each customer account on a case-by-case situation.
