Wilson County DSS will begin classes for foster parent licensure on Thursday, Feb. 27. The classes will run 6:30-9:30 p.m. each Thursday through April 25. The training schedule also includes one Saturday class on April 18, which runs from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
“Our agency is very fortunate to have many wonderful foster parents in Wilson County,” said Marsha Coffman-Woods, the DSS foster and adoptions team leader. “One of the beautiful things about our foster families is that very often, they choose to adopt their foster children. It also means that we always need more foster parents.”
