Every single business, private or public, should model its customer service after the city of Wilson’s electric linemen!

We had a tree fall on a utility line, tearing down the pole and transformer, shortly after 8 a.m. Friday, Sept. 14 as Hurricane Florence spawned wind gusts in our area. Within 30 minutes of reporting our outage, an awesome crew showed up at our house.

In record time, 3 ½ hours, they had restored our electricity!

Kudos and a huge thank you to Nick Whitley, Kevin Worrell, Rusty Martin, Randy Moore, Eric Brown, Joshua Castro, Jason Tant and Ryne Harriger.

They were perfect, professional gentlemen who put their lives in danger out in the storm to protect us. Thank you, guys — your professionalism and quick response are most appreciated!
