Thank you, Wilson and The Wilson Times!
The Wilson community has stepped up this year early to provide Christmas blessings and hope through the Salvation Army Angel Tree program. As a result of this front-page story this past Tuesday, all 525 angels will have Christmas this year. Thank you Wilson Times, editor Corey Friedman and reporter Brie Handgraaf for this great coverage.
Jamilla Kirby, director of social services at The Salvation Army, has done an amazing job this year with the Angel Tree program. This year’s Angel Tree distribution will be held on Dec. 18 and 19 in the old Wilson Times building. Thanks to The Wilson Times for allowing the Salvation Army to use the building and bring Christmas cheer to so many in need.
As we celebrate the season of giving, Wilson has and continues to answer the call to help those less fortunate. Thank you!
