Caroline Margaret Dolman and Peter Todd Herlin of Austin, Texas, were married in a 4 p.m. ceremony on July 7 at Shepherd of the Hills Presbyterian Church in Austin. The Rev. Leon Bloder officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of is Dr. and Mrs. David Dolman of Wilson. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse R. Upperco of Wilson and the late Joseph C. Dolman and the late Margaret Dolman Hunt and Harvey Hunt of Tulsa, Oklahoma. She graduated from Ralph L. Fike High School and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and secondary education at Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois. She is a sixth-grade composition teacher at Regents School of Austin.

Parents of the groom are Dr. and Mrs. Louis Herlin of Austin. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Don Davis of Stuart, Florida, and Betty Herlin of Port Arthur, Texas, and the late Charles “Pete” Herlin. He graduated from St. Andrew’s Episcopal School in Austin and received a Bachelor of Arts in history from Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois. He is a foundation associate at New Milestones Foundation in Austin.

Following the ceremony, a reception was hosted by the parents of the bride at Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center in Austin.

The evening before the wedding, the groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Mandola’s Italian Kitchen in Austin.

They took a wedding trip to Coronado, California, and live in Austin.
