The single front lace straps split into a delicate double satin straps on the back. A row of satincovered buttons trailed down the back floating into a lovely combination of soft English net overlay with a bold embroidered lace; the design floated away from the bride to a cathedral-length train.

She carried a bouquet of loose, slightly cascading all dove white spray roses, misty scabiosa and snowberries, centered around a grand white King Protea, accented with hosta and tropical palm leaves. Dashed with stems of pampas grass, plumosa fern and hanging green amaranthus all adorned with pheasant feathers gifted by the bride’s brother, all bound with a white satin ribbon.

Anna Catelyn Batts of Wilson, sister of the bride, and Lauren Houston of Charlotte, sister of the groom, served as maids of honor. They wore sleek woven fabric gowns in complementing styles in the color of midnight that fell to a floor-length, paired with ankle strapped heels of matching color.
