As we prepare to enter into Phase 2, we must continue to protect ourselves, our families and our neighbors.

Although we may move into Phase 2 on Friday, it is important to remember, there is not a cure for this virus. This virus is highly contagious and deadly. Just because our state may open more does not mean we should let our guard down.
Please use good judgment and always think about the safety of your family and friends.
As of Tuesday, May 19, these are the updated figures for Wilson County’s COVID-19 status:
• Total number of cases - 254
• Total number of recoveries - 155
WHAT DOES PHASE 2 LOOK LIKE?
The statewide stay-at-home order will be lifted.
Restaurants and bars can reopen dining rooms but at limited capacity.
Salons, barber shops, gyms, entertainment venues and places or worship can reopen but at limited capacity.
Public playgrounds reopen, and public pools may be allowed to open with additional safety measures.
People can gather in small groups of more than 10 people.
Strict rules and restrictions stay in place at nursing homes and other care facilities, including rehab centers and hospitals. Visitors are banned.
