KENLY — The Tobacco Farm Life Museum is back open with modified hours: Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. until further notice.

An online calendar has been set up for visitors to register in advance and purchase no contact tickets on the website for groups from one to 10 individuals. Groups larger than 10 should call in advance to schedule.

The museum will require masks to be worn while touring the buildings and that guests maintain a social distance of 6 feet or more. The museum will supply hand sanitizer at every door, and a clear path through the gallery is marked.

The children’s play area and entry film will not be accessible at this time. All tickets will be $8 and include tax.

The museum will maintain a lunch hour and close the gallery and gift shop from 11 a.m. to noon. Guests will still be welcome to walk the grounds during this time, and staff will still be available via phone.

Museum staff members will be taking extra measures to wipe down common areas between each group.
